Here the river flows under Mineral Spring Road in Pawtucket next to a lot where public school buses are stored and old mill buildings are in a transition between being used and not being used and being used again. Amazingly, you have no sense of the fact you are driving over a river from the road. No signs and a very inconspicuous railing to the roadside. Down below, the river is quite pleasant and quiet and no doubt looking a lot cleaner than the days of full industrial use of the mills.
