The West tributary comes rushing south a bit from under Douglas Avenue in Providence. The old mills to the left are occupied by urban residents and a few mixed industrial organizations - surprisingly attractive upon inspection from the main parking lot. The opposite bank of the river has been directed by a concrete wall that seems quite adequate considering the dam that manages the river as seen in shot N.
