Moshassuck Quicktime VR (drag from side to side)
The Moshassuck feels as natural as it ever gets from this viewpoint - except for the fact it runs under a rural road north of here (seen in the distance). Surprising to us, we see no other footprints in the area although the snow has rested here for over a week without disturbance. Again, we can imagine a nice picnic table accessible from the dirt turnaround where we parked. We get the feeling that others spent significant time here thousands of years ago and share a moment's thought thanking them for leaving the river in such a fine state. Were there many beaver and otter in the area back then? We saw no fauna whatsoever.
